I ordered my family names in a scrabble board design from Walter. From the time the order was placed to delivery at my door was maybe a week to week and half tops. I am very happy with how solid the pieces are and how the look. I would definitely use his shop again for any future creations.

Unbelievable service. Started with a Mantel and ended up buying shelves and butcher block countertops for Bourbon Room. Great communication and really cared about getting me exactly what I wanted!!! Really appreciate the service and end product. Definitely will go back for more items. Butcher Block Countertop is unbelievable. Color was match to my specific tastes. Bought a table for behind the couch in our living room. We had high hopes based on the great pictures on Facebook, website, and Instagram. But our expectations were far exceeded. The table was absolutely perfect and beautiful, and could not look any better in our living room. We got to customize all aspects and even got two outlets installed on the table exactly where we wanted (extremely useful). Very high quality craftsmanship. I was doing a search for a custom fireplace mantle shelf. In doing my research I came across Wester's Custom Build. After reaching out, it was 3 minutes later I got a response back. He answered all my questions and after some back and forth I was locked in with measurements, stain color, and an expedite build schedule. I could not have been more pleased with the results and how well it looks in the space
I had Westers build me a custom distressed mantle to finish out a fireplace project and had a great experience throughout the entire process. Westers was really easy to work with as he was willing to build the mantle to the specific size I needed. The craftsmanship of his work far exceeded any expectations I had. If I could give 10 stars I would. For any woodworking needs I would use Westers again in a heartbeat. Great job!

Walter custom built our FP mantel for our new house. Aside from asking for half of the money up front everything went well. That just makes you nervous as to whether they will show back up. He stayed in touch with us, sent a picture of the product to see if we were happy with it. Made the changes we ask and had the mantel ready when promised. I would recommend his services to anyone that ask. He did everything he said he was going to do.

My wife was looking for end tables and a coffee table for her new living room set. We shopped everywhere and nothing caught her eye. We found Wesster's Custom Built furniture on Facebook and in 3 weeks we had the end tables and coffee table she was looking for. They even built the tables to her specifications on size. Amazing furniture, very sturdy, and hand built by a local craftsman. No particle board, made out of real wood, not manufactured.

Walter created a perfect piece for my home. I needed a shorter length than normal but with generous spacing between shelves to hold office equipment and toy bins. It had to fit in a small area by the back door. Wanted a primitive rustic finish that would still look nice indoors. Exact fit and finish and great price!

We are extremely pleased with our fireplace mantle. Custom made to the size we needed. The mantle is hollow and light weight, easy to hang. Yet very durable and has the look of a vintage log mantle. I would highly recommend Wester's.

I figured it was going to turn out pretty well but it was way better than I expected. The craftsmanship and staining made it look just like an actual chunk of wood someone cut 50 years ago. Walter refinished an older wood dresser that he found in a custom color and allowed me to pick out my own hardware to make it custom. He used cabinet grade paint which will last for years! He kept in communication with me the whole time.
I believe Walter produces a superior product a d strives to please the customer as much as possible. I enquired about a table and four chairs. With measurements and product information specifically customized for me, he was very helpful. I ended up not purchasing because my husband wanted to first work on a revamp for our bathroom and laundry room. I did save Walter's page info for later. I reached out to Walter after searching for about 2 years for someone to do custom kitchen shelves. I looked on Etsy and the prices were just ridiculous. I found Walter. Phew!! He was so easy to work with! So quick to communicate! And understood what I wanted exactly! Even when I reached out to him to change something on the plan, he didn't hesitate to say "no problem!". He kept me updated and completed the shelves faster than expected!! I LOVE the beautiful grain in the wood and natural knots...not like store bought. I found Wester's Custom Built business on Offer Up. I knew from the items that I saw on Offer up that I wanted to do business with Wester's. I reached out told Westly what I wanted he shot me a few samples and together we created what is now a family airloom. I have never worked with somebody who was so eager to please the customer. He answered all my questions anything that I didn't understand he explained so that I could. I received my project very quickly and it was everything I expected and more.
